Many (but not all!)

I may have enjoyed the latest post a bit too much.

In case you missed it, MckMama says she is not what her dissenters claim she is. I want to share this here, too:

"See, I am not what some of my dissenters claim me to be. I don’t lie about my children’s haircuts or lead you all into internet scams involving shady charities. I am not the devil incarnate, nor do I sit around plotting how to be deceitful on my blog. I don’t fake to have great adventures with my children just so I can blog about them and I didn’t add food coloring to my rainbow pancakes. I don’t stage messes created by my children or fake medical conditions. The insinuations that I do are baseless and laughable."

She also says:

"But the fact that many (But not all!) of my critics’ accusations against me are totally false does not release me from having a responsible role in it all. Yet, I have sometimes acted as if it did. When I am accused of things I did not do, called names I don’t deserve, or questioned relentlessly, I still must do the right thing."

It is so nice of her to give us examples of where we are wrong. We need to do the right thing by cleaning up MWOP and deleting the untruths. Let's break it down, shall we?

• I don’t lie about my children’s haircuts (Okay, cross that blog post ou...wait, I don't see a reference to that? )
• or lead you all into internet scams involving shady charities. (Oh man, that was an important blog post back in...err....you know, in.....crap, nothing here either. All I can find are responses from other reputable charities.)
• I am not the devil incarnate, nor do I sit around plotting how to be deceitful on my blog. (I have got to stop with the 'devil incarnate' yammering. It's like it's a choice phrase around here. Hold the iPhones, search can't seem to find the phrase anywhere.)
• I don’t fake to have great adventures with my children just so I can blog about them (Dang, she's cherry picking all the best posts and shredding all validity there is in them!)
• I didn’t add food coloring to my rainbow pancakes. (Seriously, folks, we must remove the pancake rebuttal post STAT. This one really seems to bug her.)
• I don’t stage messes created by my children (How could I have ever made such an egregious claim? Does MWOP have no decency??)
• or fake medical conditions. (Writing posts about her faking medical conditions is wrong, and I feel humbled and apologetic for my actions...well, I would, but damn, I didn't write that either.)

There you have it MWOPers. MWOP has been put in its place. The lies here are much like the insinuations. Baseless and laughable.

An update on the future

Great news - there is a regular here who has volunteered to take over MWOP. It's someone who was on my list, who may have been on your list too. This person has been around for months and is a reasonable voice with some great opinions. She is not/was not a moderator of the forum (since I know some will ask).

I'm happy she stepped forward. I think this person can handle Africa in ways that I cannot right now. She is also excellent at putting small details together, so I anticipate the posts from her being way better than what I could pen.

I want this person to have the best anonymity, so we've agreed not to reveal her username since she has used it in other locations. To that end, she will need a new username. That's where I thought you guys could come in. Please leave the most clever username you've got and the one with the most likes by Sunday 9 PM EST will be it!

La Sora Cesira e l'obolo del canone tv

Io la buca delle lettere la chiamo " il loculo dell'infamia".
Mi pare inevitabile infatti, visto che siamo nel secondo decennio del terzo millennio, che a scrivere ancora delle lettere siano esclusivamente degli enti e/o delle organizzazioni foriere di comunicazioni luttuose o di insolito malaugurio.
Io di solito ricevo missive dalla Gerit, che mi intima di pagare multe prese in triciclo nel 1970, da "Le sorelle verginimmacolate del preziosissimo sangue addolorato della misericordia dell' abbastanza addolorata", che mi mandano bollettini postali da trecento eurini, dai miei figli negretti (che ormai hanno quarant'anni ) sparsi per l'Africa, dagli autocentri Skoda che mi vogliono presentare la nuova spider polaccoucraina che va da O a 50km in mezz'ora, infine dalla RAhahahahahai televisione italiana.
Ieri infatti c'era lui, il canone.
Io non è che non voglio pagare il canone, io vorrei che qualcuno venisse a sgretolarmi i canali Raitelevisivi dalla televisione di mia proprietà.
Certo ci sono alcune eccezioni, il TG 1 è una di queste.
Il telegiornale di Minchiolini infatti vince sempre. Il TG 1 è troppo avanti.
Ieri sera poi ha toccato delle vette inesplorate.
Le notizie di ieri, sui TG normali, riguardavano le nuove intercettazioni dell'inchiesta Ruby- Nano delle meraviglie, La sentenza del caso di Via Poma, gli scontri in Egitto e il caso della casa del coso che di lavoro fa il cognato di Fini.
Minchiolini naturalmente ha dedicato un'intervista bisestile al vicino di casa di Tulliani a Montecarlo.
L'intervista esclusiva ha fatto luce sul fatto che il signor Tulliani, molto gentilmente, ha pagato la riparazione dei danni causati dalla sua ristrutturazione(OOOOOOH! ) e sul fatto che una volta una signora bionda, che poi è risultata essere Elisabetta Tulliani, è entrata nella casa ( OOOOOOOH! ).
Il servizio sul caso Ruby è andato in onda all'interno di un reportage sulla cottura dei Canederli al formaggio puzzone in Val di Fiemme.
Che meraviglia.
Cosa pensa di fare l'Augusto direttore? Occultare le notti di Arcore in nome della necessità di far dimettere Fini?
Ora, posto che secondo me dovrebbe andare tutti indistintamente a casa e rinunciare ad ogni velleità, presente o futura, di sedere su una poltrona in nome della repubblica italiana, trovo veramente tenera e ammirevole la servizievole abnegazione del direttore del TG1 alla causa del suo amato padroncino.
Detto questo, conscia di rinuciare ad alcune fiction veramente insuperabili e a spettacoli di varietà con la reincarnazione di Pupo e la sua stellare compagnia cantante, spero di ricevere un giorno un ufficiale giudiziario per il pignoramento dei mobili in seguito al mancato pagamento del tv-obolo statale, mi piacerebbe anche essere arrestata per vantarmene un giorno con i nipoti.

Questo è veramente troppo...

Oggi miei cari ho battuto un record.
Ho trovato una delle menti più malate dei nostri tempi.
Dimenticate per un attimo il nano delle meraviglie e le sue veline buongustaie, dimenticate i serial killers, il fantatroiaio della giunta comunale di Roma, le parentopoli italiote e tutte quelle delicatezze che ci pregiamo di seguire quotidianamente.
Il cervello di cui sto per parlarvi trionfa. Le Sinapsi contorte di questo mostro sbaragliano qualsiasi avversario. La materia beige di questo encefalo agonizzante
non ha pari.
Parlo della signorina cinese che pubblica video in cui ammazza e tortura gli animali.
La fanciulla pare abbia migliaia di estimatori,anche più malati di lei, che si eccitano pure.
Ella, di fronte ad una telecamera accesa, fa cose che certo non sarò io a descrivervi.
A questo punto avrei alcune riflessioni…
La prima è che sono pronta ad affrontare il diluvio Maya del 2012, purchè la sciacquata sia generale e si porti via anche questa allegra compagnia di mostri.
La seconda è che la prossima volta che sento dire che siamo tutti uguali da un prete, una maestra, un educatore, un avvocato, un puffo, tiro giù uno tsunami di vaffanculi (almeno per oggi vi prego di perdonare i termini).
La terza è che se nel giro di qualche giorno non vengo a sapere che la tipa è in isolamento all'inferno, mi impegno a portarcela personalmente.
Io lo so che dovrei scrivere cose divertenti, so che questo blog vi ha abituati a sorridere con una sana ( spero ) satira, ma so anche che ci sono delle cose che vanno troppo oltre e visto che posso pregiarmi di un piccolo seguito di amici, credo sia mio dovere segnalarle.
Allora miei cari, prendete una piccola borsa e riponetevi il minimo indispensabile, poi copritevi bene e cercate un posto più riparato possibile.
Se stavolta ci dice bene, fra fusi orari, ora legale, riscaldamento del globo e buco nell'ozono, la Mayasciacquata cala un po' prima.

The Future

Here we are nearing the one year anniversary of MWOP and we have almost two million visitors. That is....amazing. Mind-boggling. Comments hit 1,000+ for most posts, and there are new visitors in every day. That tells me this site is still serving a purpose.

However, I don't know what role I can take in the next year. My concern is two-fold. I have not had the time to keep up with everything going on here enough to research and put together posts in a timely manner, and I don't really have the desire to keep going. This person is not going to change. If everything that that has come out in the last two years hasn't changed her, I am convinced nothing I post on here will change her back into someone who should be leading a Christian mom blog community. Because of this, I have pretty much given up in the last few months, and I think people here have noticed.

I will not shut this site down. I will leave it up with its blog posts and comments, but not post anything new. The Disqus and email information will stay with this site. But starting with the next year of MWOP, I would like to take suggestions and offers for someone who is interested in taking over MWOP at a new location.

We have some dedicated members here who I think would do an excellent job, but I would like to hear from you. If someone opened MWOP2, who would you trust to moderate it? Are there any nominations? Do you have other suggestions?

Regardless, there's always the wonderful forum two users here have put together.

I apologize in advance if this disappoints anyone. I know I have sucked at my 'job' recently, and you deserve better than what I have given you these past couple of months, especially with the new stirrings over Africa. I have thoroughly enjoyed 'meeting' most everyone on here, hearing the varying opinions you have, and I would like to hear them now while we try to figure out the future of MWOP.
